There is a major breaking for publishers who utilise Google AdSense to make money. Your Google AdSense account and Google Analytics can now be linked. Since June 15th, 2023, Google has made this new function available to everyone. This link generates exciting new options to improve your website’s operation and revenue.
You must take a few simple steps in order to set up this connection:

There are two crucial prerequisites before you start:

Once you have these prerequisites in place, you’re ready to proceed to the linking process.

Working with AdSense Data in GA4
The integration between Google AdSense and GA4 introduces a range of new dimensions, metrics, and events that provide valuable insights into your ad performance. After the 24 hours, your GA4 property will automatically track the following events:
|ad_click:||Tracks user clicks on ads.|
|ad_impression:||Monitors when users view ad impressions.|
|ad_query:||Records ad requests, crucial for merging GA4 and AdSense data.|
These new events bring along additional dimensions and metrics, including:
|Ad format:||Displays the AdSense ad format dimension.|
|Ad source:||Utilizes the AdSense publisher ID.|
|Ad unit:||Represents the AdSense ad unit dimension.|
|Page path + query string and screen class:||Captures the placement of AdSense ad units.|
|Ad unit exposure:||Measures the time users are exposed to ads.|
|Publisher ad clicks:||Tracks AdSense clicks.|
|Publisher ad impressions:||Record impressions for AdSense.|
|Total ad revenue:||Summarise all advertising income, including AdSense and other advertising income.|
Within Google Analytics 4, there are two methods to get at these insights: through default reports and GA4 Explore.
Google Analytics 4 has a default in-built report to see the performance of the ads on your website. You can access it in Reports -> Monetisation -> Publisher ads.
You may now link your Google AdSense and Google Analytics 4 accounts as of June 15th, 2023. Three new events are introduced by this integration, each with unique dimensions and metrics. With the help of these technologies, SEO services in Singapore or any individual can optimise their website’s ability to generate revenue.
